Here at EarthQuaker Devices, they like pedals so much that they make them one-at-a-time, by hand, the hard way, in the idyllic post-apocalyptic wasteland metropolis of Akron, Ohio, USA.

Where the soldering smoke blocks out the sun and the fiery Cuyahoga River pumps white-hot liquid magma into the steam engine that powers the great riff factory in the sky.

They are not just re-doing the existing : many of these effects pedals are unique and feature usable sounds and parameters unknown to others.
