Warranty & After-Sales Service

At Groove Street 98, we believe great gear should come with great service. We're here to help before and after your purchase.

1. New Products

New products purchased by consumers are covered by the applicable statutory legal guarantee. In Belgium, this is generally two years from delivery.

If a product develops a defect covered by the legal guarantee, please contact us. We will assess the issue and provide the appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable law.

2. Second-Hand & Vintage Gear

Second-hand and vintage instruments are individually assessed and described so you know what you're buying.

Where a shorter legal guarantee period is permitted by law, we will clearly state the applicable period before purchase. Any known defects, signs of wear, repairs or modifications will be disclosed in the product description.

Your statutory consumer rights remain applicable.

3. What Should I Do If Something Goes Wrong?

If you experience a problem with an item purchased from Groove Street 98:

  1. Contact us at work@groovestreet98.com.

  2. Include your order number, a description of the problem and, where helpful, photographs or a short video.

  3. We will review the issue and explain the next steps.

Please contact us as soon as possible after discovering a problem.

4. What Is Not Covered?

The legal guarantee does not cover damage or deterioration attributable to circumstances such as accidental damage, misuse or normal wear and tear, where the law permits such exclusions.

For musical instruments, ordinary maintenance and adjustments, including string replacement and routine setup work, are not automatically covered by the legal guarantee. A setup issue or instrument defect will be assessed on its individual circumstances.

Nothing in this policy limits your statutory consumer rights.

5. Manufacturer Warranties

Some products may also benefit from a manufacturer's commercial warranty. Any additional coverage, duration and applicable conditions will be communicated where relevant.

A manufacturer's warranty does not replace or reduce your statutory rights against Groove Street 98.

6. Our Commitment

We're an independent guitar specialist, and we want you to enjoy the gear you buy from us. If something isn't right, get in touch. We'll work with you to find the appropriate solution.
