The next chapter

Dearest customers, fellow enthusiasts,

After 15 years, we say goodbye to our shop at Rue Royale 59.

It has been our home after leaving Rue de l'Enseignement 98 around the block, our first address.

We have decided to leave Rue Royale 59.

Unfortunately, the past two years have brought challenges that we could no longer overcome.

Since 2024, the shop has suffered multiple major water leaks, causing serious damage to our gear, our premises and, inevitably, to our business and reputation.

We have tried to deal with every problem and keep going. But after everything we have experienced, we had to stop and think.

The way some of the issues have been handled, including by our syndic and some of the insurance companies involved, made this difficult situation even harder.

Running a truly independent, specialised shop has become more challenging every year as well. E-commerce has changed the way people shop.

This is perhaps the end of an era, it is not the end of us.

We will continue online as a specialised e-commerce shop, bringing you the same expertise, passion and personal service that we have always tried to give you.

We hope to be able to reopen a physical shop — in or around Brussels — and continue doing what we love most.

You can help us come back !

Thank you for choosing an independent shop, for your support and being part of the story.

Time for the beginning of our next chapter.
